Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Two-Stroke Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in India.
This position requires expertise in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining MAN and Wartsila two-stroke
engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering and be prepared to work in a
fast-paced international environment.
Responsibilities
✓ Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on MAN / Wartsila two-stroke engines.
✓ Conduct engine overhauls and mechanical upgrades.
✓ Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
✓ Provide technical support and guidance to the marine engineering team.
✓ Prepare detailed service reports and maintain records of engine performance and repairs.
✓ Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
✓ Travel to shipyards, ports, and onboard vessels to perform onsite engine services.
✓ Collaborate with the parts department to manage the inventory of engine components and tools.
✓ Train junior engineers and technical support staff.
Qualifications and Experience
✓ Qualification (Degree or Diploma both accepted) in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a
related field.
✓ Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing MAN and Wartsila two-stroke engines.
✓ Strong knowledge of marine engine components and systems.
✓ Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
✓ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✓ Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
